What is normal is no longer celebrated but expected. What we do excellently everyday with integrity and intention will not amaze anyone or be appreciated because that is only thing others anticipate from you. It is much easier to be bitter and discouraged when nobody seems to notice how good we are.
What is easily forgotten by people, such as consistency, integrity, perseverance, dedication, and kindness, is significant to the God who sees.
So what do we do? Be faithful in what we do. Do it from our heart, not for others to praise us. Offer verbal affirmations to those who are consistence. Acknowledge their desires of high standard. And remember, God sees US.
